Physicians impact the lives of many people in many different ways. They care for those who are sick or injured, advance medical knowledge, and promote good health. They also work in one of the most challenging and demanding professions and should be recognized for all that they do to provide caring, quality health care. National Doctors' Day, held on March 30th, 2010, provides an opportunity for patients, colleagues and others to gratefully remember those special physicians who go above and beyond the call of duty and make a real difference in their communities. For each suggested, tax-deductible contribution of $35 per physician (or $100 for three), the Foundation will send a personalized card with the following message:

has been honored by Donor's Name on National Doctors' Day, March 30th, 2010.
The North Carolina Medical Society and its Foundation thank you for your hard work, compassion and dedication to advancing medical knowledge and providing quality health care.
All honored physicians will also be recognized in the NCMS Bulletin and on the Foundation's website.
