Program Director

The North Carolina Medical Society Foundation, a 501(C)(3) dedicated to improving access to quality health care and health education, seeks a program director to oversee and administer the operational, planning, and evaluation activities of the Foundation's PractEssentials program, the North Carolina Medical Society Continuing Medical Education program, and other Foundation programs. The PractEssentials program provides technical, professional, and educational assistance to physician practices in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated working knowledge of practice management issues relevant to all size practices, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in program management, including health care technologies related health care policy. Program planning and evaluation, innovation, and leadership skills and experience are critical for this position. Masters Degree in Health Administration, Health Policy, or Business preferred. American College of Medical Practice Executives board certification and experience with a 501(c)(3) nonprofit environment a plus. Formal education level may be considered in conjunction with prior experience. In-state travel required.
